Are you our new Sales Director?

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Director to lead our commercial growth and spearhead our Global Enterprise Sales efforts.

As a critical member of the daily leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for defining and executing our sales strategy, lead and coach our high performing sales team as well as play a key role in shaping cross-company efforts, fostering our culture, and defining our companies overarching strategic direction.

In this role, you will lead and coach our high-performing sales team targeting large-scale global enterprises. You will operate as a playing coach responsible for your own book of business in addition to driving team performance. You will apply a high degree of management rigor to ensure the commercial team operates efficiently, adheres to established processes, and consistently hits revenue and growth targets. By acting as the bridge between sales, product, and solutions, you will ensure our external go-to-market motions are perfectly aligned with our internal capabilities and core strategic focus.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Global Enterprise Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach and motivate a high-performing sales team focused on navigating complex global enterprise sales cycles.
  • Playing coach to the team holding the responsibility for your own portfolio as well as assisting the team to drive sales excellence and growth.
  • Ensure every team member clearly understands the company's overarching goals and direction, current main objectives, key results to achieve, and the specific individual contributions expected of them.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, actionable feedback for successes, and tailored support for individual development needs.
  • Facilitate enablement through appropriate delegation, empowering team members to grow within their roles.
  • Manage core HR responsibilities for the sales organization, including recruitment, performance and salary reviews as well as people development.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Continuously engage with the leadership of the product and solutions teams to ensure seamless alignment on internal processes, external messaging, and project ownership.
  • Drive initiatives that support the company's overarching strategic goals  
  • Stay highly informed about MarTech market trends, the competitive landscape, and best practice solutions, proactively sharing this knowledge both internally and externally.

Revenue Accountability & Operational Rigor

  • Hold the ultimate responsibility for the successful sale of the Company’s services to enterprise customers and sales partners.
  • Ensure the commercial team consistently delivers on agreed budgets and revenue targets, setting clear OKRs and monitor progress
  • Report ongoing progress to senior leadership, supporting all updates with robust, data-driven insights.
  • Act as the definitive point of escalation for any deviations from agreed commercial processes and policies.

Tool, Process & Budget Ownership

  • Act as the designated software owner for all tools utilized by the commercial team, ensuring they are adopted, used as intended, and remain in full compliance with our company policies.
  • Own and strictly manage the budget allocated by senior leadership, ensuring commercial spending within agreed limits.

Culture & Role Modeling

  • Act as a visible role model within the daily leadership team.
  • Engage proactively and positively to foster a high-performance, collaborative, and supportive overall culture across the company.

Must have capabilities  

  • Proven track record driving software solution sales towards Global Enterprise customers  
  • Management experience leading and coaching high performing sales teams including OKR setting, running performance reviews, people development initiatives etc
  • Previous responsibility defining and owning the company’s sales strategy
  • Experience working with sales CRM tools preferably Salesforce or similar systems.

Requirements  

  • You have a valid work permit to work in Europe (Denmark).
  • You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • You are located in the Greater Copenhagen Area (Denmark) or will be relocating here.
